Dr. Gorman, what is the most interesting place you have been and why?
“I have had the privilege to travel many places in the world-South Africa, Zambia, Ecuador, Bangladesh, Alaska, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Thailand, England, Netherlands, Uganda. My favorite place to visit though was definitely the Holy Land-walking where Jesus walked!”
Dr. Gorman, what is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
“That I was a very serious trumpet player in high school and after many years away from it I have started playing again, just because I love to play that instrument. Also, that I rode my bicycle across the United States in the Bicentennial in 1976 when I was 21 years old.”
Dr. Gorman, what has been your favorite experience overseas?
“Sailing on the Sea of Galilee in Israel on a fishing boat, singing songs with my travel companions about Jesus on the very body of water that he and his disciples sailed upon!”
