Diagnostic Testing
For our patient’s convenience, we do several diagnostic tests in our office, including electrocardiograms (or ECGs) , Pulmonary Function Tests, Pulse Oximetry, pregnancy tests, urinalysis, hemoglobin A1C, blood sugar, rapid test for strep throat, rapid test for influenza, and anticoagulation (Protime or INR) testing.
Hemoglobin A1C Testing
Also known as A1C testing, this simple blood test is used to monitor diabetes. This can be done in the office with a simple finger stick, which not only can save a trip to the lab when appropriate, but also provides immediate information the provider can use to make any changes in treatment if needed.
