“My dream profession other than medicine would be a professional golfer.”

Dr. Eggleston, what is the most interesting place you have been and why?

“The most interesting place I have seen is the ruins of Machu Picchu. It is an Incan citadel built atop the Andes Mountains in Peru in the 15th century. I visited there with one of my sons in 1995. It is at an altitude of 7972 ft. with breathtaking views and is renowned for huge stone blocks fused together without mortar and its exact former use remains a mystery.”
