ABOUT SUSAN MURAWSKI, FNP
Susan Murawski, F.N.P. comes to Westfield Family Physicians with a rich background in medical care and human services. Her commitment to people and their quality of life is evident in her experience as a former elementary school teacher and VISTA volunteer.
Ms. Murawski entered the healthcare profession in 1983 when she received her LPN certification. Continuing her education, she graduated magna cum laude from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Edinboro, PA, with her B.S. in Nursing. In 1994, she received her Masters Degree in Nursing with honors from the University of Pittsburgh and became a Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.
Sue lives outside of North East, Pennsylvania with her husband Tim Lyons. They enjoy hiking, biking, and bird watching.
Susan, when you are not at work at WFP, what can you be found doing?
“Anything that gets me outdoors: biking, hiking, canoeing, playing with my dogs.”
Susan, what is your favorite book and why?
“The novel Heartbreak Hotel by Gabrielle Burton, because it is quirky and set in Buffalo, but more so because it a showcase of the experience of being female.”
