ABOUT SARAH COOK, PA-C
Sarah Cook is a registered Physician Assistant who joined our staff in 2007. She graduated from Houghton College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, and then obtained a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Sarah and her husband have four children. They enjoy a variety of activities together including sports, camping, fishing, hunting, and flying. They are actively involved in ministries through their church in Lakewood, NY as well.
Sarah, what is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
“Throughout my high school and college career I enjoyed being a competitive athlete, participating in Track and Field. I have always been comfortable in a pair of sneakers. At one time I was even an NAIA All-American along with local Olympic star Jenn Suhr. All that running has sure come in handy now that I am running after four kids!”
Sarah, what is the most interesting place you have been to?
“The most interesting place I have been to is Milyniv Ukraine. My husband and I participated in a short term missions outreach to a sister church in Milyniv, helping to organize a children’s day camp and teach the English language. I loved the culture and the beauty of the people. Stepping into their world gave me a greater appreciation for the bountiful blessings we enjoy in our nation, not only materially but in a variety of facets. It also widened my perspective of the world around us. I hope one day to take our family back there together.”
