About Dr. Gorman

Timothy Gorman, M.D. joined Westfield Family Physicians in 1987. He graduated summa cum laude from Taylor University with a degree in Biology and Systems Analysis. He received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, followed by a three-year Family Practice residency at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.


Dr. and Mrs. Gorman have five children and make their home in Westfield. In his leisure time he enjoys running, bike riding, reading, and spending time with his wife and children. He is an active member of his church. He has done short-term medical missions trips to Zambia, Bangladesh, and Ecuador.

Dr. Gorman, if you were not a medical professional, what would your dream profession be?


"If I were not a medical professional, my dream job would be to be a marine biologist, something I thought I would do with my life when I was in high school and early college till God lead me into the field of medicine. I couldn't be happier!"


Dr. Gorman, when you're not at work what are you doing?


"When I am not at work I am at home with my wife and my disabled daughter. I enjoy spending my spare time with them. I also spend time biking, running, reading and doing work in and around my house."
