What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
"Throughout my high school and college career I enjoyed being a competitive athlete, participating in Track and Field. I have always been comfortable in a pair of sneakers. At one time I was even an NAIA All-American along with local Olympic star Jenn Suhr. All that running has sure come in handy now that I am running after four kids!"
What is the most interesting place you have been to?
"The most interesting place I have been to is Milyniv Ukraine. My husband and I participated in a short term missions outreach to a sister church in Milyniv, helping to organize a children's day camp and teach the English language. I loved the culture and the beauty of the people. Stepping into their world gave me a greater appreciation for the bountiful blessings we enjoy in our nation, not only materially but in a variety of facets. It also widened my perspective of the world around us. I hope one day to take our family back there together."
